Where digital art becomes sculptural art

At TBG Design Studio, colorful digital artwork is printed onto commercial grade synthetic paper and laser cut into various shapes. From there, strands are assembled and connected before being hung from a wood, MDF, or acrylic hanger to create sculptural mobiles and wall hangings.

All artwork created by Terry G. of TBG Design Studio in greater Palm Springs. Pieces range from small solo hangings and groupings to large scale custom installations.

Even though commercial grade synthetic paper is water and tear resistant, making it a pretty durable material, these pieces remain airy, flowy and delicate. Perfect for both Residential and Commercial spaces.

These pieces take up a lot of visual space while remaining airy and incredibly lightweight.

    Chandelier style mobile with 9 strands in boho shapes in orange, red, tan, black and even some purple. It's approx. 13" in diameter and 16" in length.

    This is a chandelier style mobile with long (50"max) strands of in a mix of shapes in a vibrant and bold print filled with yellow, orange, turquoise and purple. The strands are connected to an 8" silver painted wood hanger with a trio of silver chains for easy hanging.

    36"x50" sculptural wall hanging. 9 strands of rectangles and circles in a vibrant and bold print filled with yellow, orange, turquoise and purple. The strands are connected to a 36" wood hanger with a silver chain for easy hanging. Very lightweight. Approx. 5 lbs.

    This image started as a photo of a fluid art piece I made years ago. It's been segmented, colorized and filtered. This is one of my favorite patterns to use for my pieces.

  • Wall Hanging #1015

    This subtle wall hanging is 9-3/4" wide and 15-1/4" long. There are five strands of varied squares and circles in shades of pink, peach, cream and green. The strands hang from a walnut stained hanger outfitted with a silver chain for hanging.

ABOUT

TBG Design Studio is home to mixed media artist Terry TB Greene. Here, she creates colorful, flowing and vibrant mobiles and sculptural wall hangings. Often using photos of her own artwork, she creates digital images that are then printed onto commercial grade synthetic paper. From there, she laser cuts the paper into her shapes, lays them out, arranges, connects and assembles them into striking pieces of art that range from small to large scale installations.

Born in the Coachella Valley, raised in the San Fernando Valley, Terry is a native of Southern California. In addition to her sculptures, she also makes a line of disc shaped wine glass charms. Outside of her studio, she’s a Reiki Master and Intuitive, which often has her dabbling in spirituality, tarot and astrology. She also loves traveling, good food and lots of laughter. As someone with scarring alopecia, Terry is also an Advocate for Alopecia Awareness. She has two adult sons and lives with her two cats, Myra and Lyla, in Palm Desert, CA.
